»Change happens through movement, and movement heals.« – Joseph Pilates
Pilates to me is more than just a workout: it’s a practice that reconnects the body and mind, building awareness and unlocking strength beyond muscles alone. I’ve been drawn to movement my whole life, exploring different disciplines and always staying active – indoors, outdoors, on the ground, in the water, or on the slopes. Over time, I discovered how Pilates not only challenges the body but also supports physical healing and recovery, which inspired me to become a teacher and encourage others to experience its benefits. And then there’s the simplicity (but hidden complexity) and accessibility of Mat Pilates for all kinds of bodies and fitness levels.
As a certified Pilates and fitness coach, I draw on insights and influences from various movement disciplines to create classes that are approachable, effective, intentionally creative, and tuned to what your body truly needs. They combine strengthening and mobilizing exercises, making each session both fun and engaging. The aim is to help you move with greater focus, control, and confidence so you can better understand and trust your body’s natural power and potential.
My perspective and teaching style are also shaped by my work as a communications and change consultant. Exploring how people and teams grow and transform — whether through new ways of thinking or moving — fuels my curiosity and passion. This connection between movement and mindset inspires everything I do, both on and off the mat.
