Shiran Berkovich

»We don’t set out to save the world; we set out to wonder how other people are doing and to reflect on how our actions affect other people’s hearts.« – Pema Chodron

Shiran, an artist and devoted Ashtanga yoga practitioner, began her Ashtanga journey twelve years ago and has been teaching for over seven years after completing a 560-hour training. She studied Asana and philosophy with various teachers like Sharath Jois, Mark Darby, Adam Keen, Maya Gros, and Swami Kashi Muktananda. Her most profound growth, however, came through her recovery from eating disorders, which led to a more compassionate relationship with movement, breath, and life.

Recently, Shiran completed a month-long intensive with Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor, deepening her holistic approach to practice and teaching. She believes in meeting students where they are, offering accessible classes centered on breath, alignment, and presence. Shiran creates a welcoming space for students to explore movement, breath, and energy, enhancing their connection with themselves and the world around them.
